OK my attempt to post a pic from my yahoo photo album of my grandaughter did't go through:(. So I will stop for tonight and really work on this over the weekend.

Hi all, I'm trying this again. I'm new at this, so bear with me. I am currently at work and will upload some photos this weekend...I promise! To tied you over I will try to upload a pic of my grandaughter in all her natural glory!!

I have over the last 2 months taken my sisterlocks and combined them for thicker locks and have started maintaing them myself with palm rolling (you can let go of your pearls!!) I did this because although I went thru alot to get my sisterlocks, they were too thin for my taste. I've always loved the look of traditional locs and either thru my impatience or the size of my locs, I was not achieveing the thickness that I desired. Therefore I double twisted, triple twisted and a few with 4 THIN locs combined, by sewing the ends with black thread. I promise I have tons of pictures of my 'transition' I just have not uploaded all, although you can find the start at my fotki account.
I am TERRIBLE about now, I can't even think of my account address with fotki, as soon as it comes to me I will type it in, so if I am in mid sentence and all of a sudden a fotki address pops up...once again bear with me!
I belong to several yahoo health groups and quite a few sisters are doing this blog thing, so I thought I'd give it another shot!!
